The ITD mission is to transfer and to develop new models and projects of social, cultural, educational and economic development. From a local perspective, the company aims to increase the welfare of citizens by concrete and integrated answers to the needs of people, organisations and territories, transferring the experience and the knowledge of their associated organisations. The main medium used is capitalisation of knowing the best developed practice in their reference field, via a strategy based on transference. ITD activities are based on a constant dialogue between excellence models and successful acts, and finding innovative solutions for the necessities of the client, specially in Europe and Latin America. To reach these objectives, ITD provides two basic and related systems: technical assistance and consultancy in its fields of reference and intervention or direct implementation of the required services.
Avalon is a non-profit organization born in 2000 in order to give support and strengthen little, middle and new born non-profit organizations, as agents of social transformation and as social enterprises. In order to achieve our mission, Avalon has 3 areas of work: Advising and guiding non-profit organizations through their needs; Vocational training for non-profit organization management; and online Resources for further learning.
Our target groups range from Migrant people organizations, cultural, Education for Global Justice organizations, to High School students and vulnerable people. Recently, Avalon has open a new line of work addressed to social start ups, Primary Schools and non-profit organizations. It is the Mediation & Conflict resolution area approached as a process of change and research for creative solutions to those emerging conflicts. With these 4 areas of work, Avalon pretends to provide a comprehensive set of innovative answers locally, regionally and internationally for the new scenario where social entrepreneurship plays an important role.
